How's the finger doing?

As for the bike...just talked to the dealership. I needed to replace the pressure plate but they did not have one last week. They just polished up the old one...anyway...I'm getting a new pressure plate and upgrading to the new 2014 clutch basket...might as well since they are going back into the clutch. Harrison is charging $275 for the basket...originally they said $450 and I told them to forget it....sent them a link to Stadium Yamaha. I hope the "upgrade" is not a mistake.

Finger in on the mend. I went to therapy today see my Doc Monday gonna try and talk him into going back to work sooner than later. Everybody has been happy with the 14 basket I'm sure you will be. I ordered one on June 15th and got an email this morning it's shipped. I was beginning to wonder if it was coming.

No one stole your light Patrick. Thursday afternoon Karson ask several of us to pick up the area in back so they could take the group picture. Your light was laying out by the fire pit in back. We picked it up and hung it up by the stairs leading to the upper rooms. It was still there Friday when I left, so I threw it into my tank bag, rather than leave it hanging there. no one knew who's it was. Send me your address and I'll send it to you.

Man I swear I left that on the back of my bike and rode off. I have torn up my whole garage and stated to disassemble my bike KNOWING I had it. Funny now but my OCD is killing me, I hate to not know. I need help. Medication is expensive and I spent all my money on fuel to get to AR. ::025::

OK on a serious note, I cant remember leaving it out, must have fallen out of my pocket. Or the 5the beer got me and I forgot where I set it. I was not expecting a response, thought she was gone forever. I knew no one stole, my sense of humor.........Sadly I have forgotten some of the new faces. I will pm you my addy and I can shoot a PP for the Postal fees.

Thanks man, been 8 sleepless nights. You sir rock.

Doug glad you Bernie and Ron made it safe!

On the subject of next year: Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming in July. July gives longer riding days and central to North America. There is lots of good riding and plenty to see. It's far enough north for cool nights for camping. Whatever is decided I'll try to be there. Enjoy hanging out with everything Tenere.

Mike glad your getting things straightened out. Things can always be worse says the the guy with 9 working fingers. It was good to talk to you at camp.
Yes I second this idea!

Made it back home to the wet coast yesterday morning from the rally.
First off another thanks to Jaxon and Karson for the time and energy it took to put this together. With the exception of forgetting the rally decals they did an excellent job :-\
Ride there and back had a little of everything, heavy wind with blowing tumbleweeds, heavy wind with rain which felt like the bike was sliding in the wet and was going to change lanes whether you liked it or not. For the most part the weather was very good and in the 70-85 F for most of the ride there and back.
Our other riding partner Ron left the group in OR on our return ride to visit family in Eugene. Hit rain, then really good rain in WA on our last day out.
Total of 11,200 km for the ride . Liking the suggestion of Wyoming in July for next years rally. Its my favorite state for getting a speeding ticket. :D
And Mark I hope that finger heals well. Those cell phone pics. of it when it happened are nasty. Bernie

I was not on the Wednesday ride. My clutch went out on a forest road Wednesday morning and Pete's company picked up my bike on Thursday and took it to the dealership.

I rode thru the Bighorns this summer -- beautiful mountains, great twisties, & a good chance of interesting weather!

It's only a two day ride from Missouri. Nice riding at that.
