Texas inspection sticker shenanigans

Not sure how many of you Texans have seen or heard of this but the inspection stickers are going away. The state has just put up this new website to help with questions about timing and issues that may come up with the switch. Seems the inspection stations will only collect their portion of the fee and the state will add the inspection fee to the registration fees. For those looking for details on this, I believe it was HB 2305 that lays out the legal mumbo jumbo.

Damn it, i thought you meant the inspection was going away all together, its just another way for government to put their hand in your pocket. In Oklahoma they got rid of the state inspections several years ago and you know what happened, nothing. Miraculously people did not start crashing into each other like the government would have you believe.
