Hi everyone. I remember a member posting a picture of their Tenere with shad cases. Can the owner repost for me?

Thanks. Greg

When I do a search from the FORUM tab in the upper left, using the words "shad cases" I get 30 threads, many of which have photos.

I tried and I only got 7 hits and they were all top boxes. I don't think in am doing it wrong. I tried both ways with and without the quotes and in tap a talk too. I'm looking for the picture with the large side cases.

Sorry if I am not doing it correctly

Thanks. It seems I can count on you for your help! I'm trying to get away from the utilitarian off road looking luggage. This might help me stay off of the FJR forum. I'm trying to decide if the FJR might be the next bike. The wife is a little too short to get off the bike comfortably. The FJ might be easier. We will check some out over the Christmas break. Thanks again for your help.

I'm in the same boat. Really like the SH36 cases and the 3P mounting system, but they don't make this for our bike.

Wonder if that 3P mounting system could be made up DIY to fit? Wish I had the talent to work with metal...

I have a set of metal boxes from a guy (MuffinTop) who apparently no longer welds them up. Needed a set of generic racks and found the SW-Motech removable ones.

(Wow they used to be like $220)

The nice part is that you simply hold them up to your case and just drill through the existing bushed holes. If I were to use them with plastic cases, I'd also look at really big fender washers to go inside the boxes and spread the load.
