SW moto crash bars?

After a good crash (35 mph in hard dirt) I see the design flaw in the Givi crash bar, though it could be improved, the bars themselves are a little thin.

The side mounting points have no plate connecting them so when they get hit those tabs can move apart. Then the Givi bar rips apart.

My tenere has a couple scratches, but the bars are toast.

Going forward, has anyone wrecked a SW moto bar?

These are mine. The mounting points are one of the reasons I chose them.

the sw- motech are worse alot worse than givi seen a few crashed xt1200 in the uk there mounts arn,t good
swopped my sw motech after seing this to altrider.

that part thats broken off on your front mount thats where the sw motech ones damage the frame badly, i know a few with sw motech will say they,ve had no issues but i,ve seen 2 uk bikes crashed with them with bad damage thats why i swopped mine over
