Scroll up to post #71 on this thread. I bought one in 2015 and and there was no rear bumper then. The oil pan is very thin in that area and a good hit may drive that rear bumper through the pan.

Do you hve anything in that hole, or is it just open?

Thanks for the how to. I used it today to install the sw motech on my 2014. It was fairly easy.
