Interested in how this worked out. I’m looking at a used ES that has Soupy’s lowering links installed and the front lowered. Owner says he didn’t cut the side stand, yay.
Site says the links go from stock height to minus three inches. Anyone know about the quality of this product? Do I just return the adjustment to stock or put the OEM parts back on?

There are raising links sold in various sizes. More for handling changes than for ground clearance.
LINK (+10 to +50mm)
The dog bones in that link do not fit the ES bikes. I know because I tried them. The company that makes them were very helpful in letting me try various ones from their range until I got some that did fit but due to the design of the ES bikes you can only realistically use two of the three positions. I also noticed when the bike is on the side stand the folded centre stand brace bar is very close to the dog bone. By close I mean feeler gauge measurement.
