Stupid Quesion from a stupid person - ES forks

As I wrote in the title..I have one stupid question.



What would happen if some idiot turns screw 7 few times on a front left fork when fork is still mounted on a bike?

If you tighten it, not much. The damper will just spin with it because it's loctited. If you try to loosen it by hand ( no impact wrench) same thing.

If the damper rod for some reason didn’t spin when you turned bolt #7 in the loosening direction and instead just the bolt just turns, you could have an oil leak. The play from the loosened bolt may cause noise in the front end too.
