Hi There.
I wonder if anyone out there have done this road recently?
I drove it in 2014 on my TransAlp, and there was so big potholes around midway to Sestriere, that is was very glad for my 21" front wheel.

https://www.google.dk/maps/@45.0642719,7.0295446,3a,75y,204.64h,83.75t/data=!3m9!1e1!3m7!1swU4M1KnThlG0Ivkbs1FFaw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!9m2!1b1!2i39?hl=da

And for the question,
Is this road being maintaned, in a way that it is possible for a fully loaded S10 to drive true?
I'm using the winter time to figure out, where the trip is going to, in the summer.

And I was thinking about Stelvio, Val'de Isere, Colle delle Finestra, this road, Alpe d' Huez and East around Geneve (Grand Colombier) , on the way North.

So:
Any one been at "Strada dell' Assietta recently?

Found some recent videos on Youtube.
So forget my question, the road seems to be open.

In my neck of the woods that would be a road to a gated community for the extremely wealthy. ;)
That looks better than any forestry road i have ever been on.
Nice trek indeed.. ::008::

That's Toyota Corolla caliber. The views would be awesome though.
We need to get our Euro brothers to West Virginia and Utah.

A bit expensive to get my S10 to Utah, and I might not be able to control it on more difficult roads :D :D
However, I would love to have the experience :p
