So I finally scored a great deal on heated seats for my 1st gen. This time of year the S10 gets used for commuter and the other bikes parked till Spring (low temps / better coverage, rain, heated gear scratches, etc) I prefer the Jeep bike.

So these low 30s, 5am commutes, Im plugged in for heated gloves / jacket and running OEM heated grips. Now that I'm running a heated seat in addition, I'm curious on if the charging system is up to the task.... Or if I'm asking too much and making an early grave for the charging system. Id like to think the system on a big touring bike like the S10 is up to it with no issues. But, Id like to hear from guys running alot of gear and their longterm results.

I believe its 600 W..

Heated gear is no issue... Ive seen MANY set ups with heated gear, heated seat, aftermarket lights, Etc.... It seemed excessive, the voltage system seemed to handle it for those owners. Im sure a few will chime in... So far it's virtually NEVER been an issue with anything you want to plug in.

Thank you sir! Thats what I was hoping for. Always great advice and helpful.

I wish (know you dont) you were closer to So Cal... I always do my own work on all my bikes, mainly because I don't trust others for things like valve adjustments and maintenance. Letting you rip through the valve adjustments wouldn't be an issue.
