Hi All,

New to the Super Ten world but am having a great time on the bike its better for my current riding style by leaps and bounds over my previous street bike. I come from a Honda 919 (naked sport bike) that had stainless lines and no abs (so much shorter lines) and loved the front lever feel of that, super firm and precise. The Super Ten is not bad per se, but I feel the long lengths and number of rubber hoses especially for the front make for a less than ideal lever feel and feedback. Im also looking to get some slightly longer lines for front brake and clutch for taller bars / risers.

Anyways, what company would yall recommend going with for that situation (full set of stainless lines for brakes and clutch + extra length).

Thanks,
Nd4

Hello and welcome from South Wales, UK. I’m not sure what companies build stainless steel brake hoses in the USA, but I think there will be plenty of suggestions heading your way very soon.

. . . . and loved the front lever feel of that, super firm and precise. . . .
Keep in mind that bike was a pavement only bike, and those brakes were designed as such. And even though I'm a pavement princess, I would imagine that since the Tenere is designed for dirt use, a super powerful front brake would not be advantageous in the dirt. I would ass-u-me that a little softness was built into it. Could be wrong. Dirt guys?

Spiegler has them for brake and clutch

Thanks! Both of those look like good options I'll have to delve into their differences. Does ladelsport have any forum member discounts?

I have ridden dirt for most of my life, having a firm lever that provides good feedback is much more preferred vs a spongy one

I installed a set of Spiegler brake and clutch lines a few weeks ago and they feel much better. But my lines were due for a change anyway.

In the UK I use Hel lines. Huge range of colours available if you want to add a little bling
