I received a phone call from the new owner/manager of Stadium Yamaha. They are now Lone Star Yamaha apparently. The owner said he found my name and phone number on a post-it note under a stack of papers. He didn't know what or why my info was written down and discarded the way it was. Said he was doing everything he could to get in contact with past customers and figure out if all of their needs had been met. They are planning on a renovation of the store and shop. He invited me out to check out the new staff and hopefully answer any questions I had. So I'm thinking Saturday I may stop by and see what's up with the new place, see how many of the old staff were kept on and maybe they can earn my business again.
Apparently my buddy Jason ex owner is still part of the store..
I am on the phone with Brent wanted to link me up with Jason my reply was Please NFW!! Him and I are done talking!!
The new owner is Bob Crow, I am planning on emailing Bob about returning my faulty 14 CCT today and see if I can get my $123.00 back...

I opened a dispute with Paypal, then escalated it to a claim, two weeks later I had a full refund from Paypal. As far as I can tell they never responded to the Paypal claim so when the time ran out Paypal refunded me the money.

Just received my parts from 'Lone Star Yamaha'

I got the OEM heated grips for the 2014 S10 ($200 less than the "kit" version). the left grip is made in Vietnam, everything else is made in Japan, which makes me wonder if there really was a problem from Mother Yamaha getting parts manufactured.

Anyways, I got a good price, but the lack of communication was disappointing.

I stopped by and spoke to a few of the folks there. Most of the staff is new, like only hired 3-4 weeks ago. One parts guy, poor fella had the phone glued to his head the whole time I was there. Looks like only one tech on staff as of Saturday, he was there before the new ownership...good guy, did some work on my bike. Think some of the back office staff is still there, finance...marketing that sort of thing.

They are trying to offload some leftover models that Stadium left in the back in crates. Get this they have not one but two 2013 matte grey Teneres, untouched...and a 2012 R6 on the showroom floor!!! Don't know prices as I didn't have time to stick around and window shop but just in case anyone in North Texas area is looking for a leftover, give them a shout see if they will work a deal. No, I don't work for them just relaying what I saw.
