St. Joe State Park (near St. Louis)

Has anyone been here with a Tenere? It looks like they have a big ORV riding area. I couldn't tell from the pics if this was more sandy areas better suited to ATV's, or if you could have some fun there on a Tenere?

I have been there several times on real dirt bikes. I wouldn't consider taking my Tenere there. There is a big sandy area that you would be able to ride around a bit, but I don't believe that would be much fun. On weekends, you have to be very careful for people riding their ATV's in that area. I mostly spent my time on the many rocky, hilly trails there and wouldn't take my Tenere on them.

On a side note, ValpoFZ and I are heading down that way next Friday night/SAt morning, are you working on Sat Oct 6th? If you were going to be around I thought we might stop in and say hey!

I am not scheduled to work that day. My son and I are planning on attending a MSTA rally in Cape Girardeau, MO that weekend and then heading into AR and MO the rest of the week for another Ozark tour. That may change, as he just now called and said he may have to cancel/postpone due to a family illness. Keep me posted and if I am still around the area, I would ride to Niehaus to say hi.
