Yes, the catalogue is very vague about FE construction.The difference in A&B is the firing end of the plug, but I can't find anything that shows what the difference is.
The standard plug terminals don’t unscrew.Since that's the only difference then I'd probably just unscrew the spark plug terminal nut from the old ones and install them on the ones you just bought. As long as they arent corroded, the terminal nuts are still good.

Yep, I’m part way through an air filter and plug change myself and went out to the garage to double check. The terminal is a permanent part of the standard plug. I know what you mean though, over the years, cars and bikes, the terminals always seemed to be screw on/off.Really? That seems odd. Is that an NGK issue?
