Another nice video. A little artsy but still good. I don't do side-saddle though... ;)

wuz dat a pink flamingo at 2:13 ??? O:)
assuming filmed in the same area...
From BoliviaBella.com: Did you know Bolivia’s flamingos are almost extinct? There is a flock of pink flamingos high on the altiplano (15,000 feet above sea level). How they got there no one knows, but when I was younger there were 77,000 of them (1984). More recently (2007) the flock has dwindled to under 5000. It is estimated that this flock, unique in that it is the only one in the world to be found at such an altitude, will be completely gone within the next 10 years. Flamingos lay only one egg per year. !

I think I need to go there w/ my new ST and try to save some Flamingo's !!

Great vid.

I visited that area two years ago. Seriously dry. 1/2" of rain a year.

eemsreno, Sounds like a thread beginning to a great trip to me. After my wife and I chill out from our up-coming 3 month cruise thru the States, on our new SILVER S10, we'll be making plans to ride to Colon Panama and put the bikes on a private Sail Boat and get off in Cartagena, Columbia. From there, depending on what the collective group wants, we could contact a local bike group and have them Ride/Escort us on to Ecuador, then another local group on to Peru and so on. We do that here in Central America often, as the locals, say in El Salvador, know the areas to stay out of and where the real sights are.
Something to think about, hey? GP

Motopan sounds like you are going to get a lot of good use out of that ST. All my vacation time plus some will be spent going to Alaska this summer. I'll have to see what happens in 2012. Too far away to make any plans yet.
