He has different sizes. I had to do some rework to get mine to where I wanted them (replaced weather striping, moved the bungees inside the lid), but overall I am satisfied with them, for what they cost. I think if I had it to do again, I would save up and get Bumonts.

Not sure what you are asking for. I drilled holes into the side of the case and mounted them to the rack, using the existing mounting holes in the rack. There is about 1/8" from the rack to the box. I used a couple of rubber washers to take up the slack.
No quick on and off with these boxes?

Can you post a picture of the weather striping? I took my bungees off all together.

He does ship two turn knobs with every side box or he did with my order. You can use the nuts and washers supplied or the turn knobs which are also included. Takes about one 30 seconds per side if you use the knobs. I agree with replacing the weather striping and also some on my rivets need replacement. The rivets are my fault, I had too much weight on the top of the box when opened and the cable crimp couldn't hold the weight and let go. I can measure my boxes if you need, I just took them off for the year. I also ordered the smaller box on the exhaust side which with the happy trails racks you don't need to. They take up the difference in the rack design.

My cables came loose too. I think that is just bad engineering on his part. I'll snap a pic of my new weather striping when I get home today.

Friends,
I just received my Solobox panniers and topbox. I too admire the fit & finish of these USA made boxes.
I'll likely call Eric too, but just curious if you have recommendations for mounting the panniers to the Happy Trails SU rack. How do you locate the pucks to establish the height of the panniers from the ground and fore/aft position? Anybody wish they had mounted them in a different position?
