Just got my SOLOBOX panniers mounted. Great product, reasonable price. Small business, American made. ::018::
Not sure what you are asking for. I drilled holes into the side of the case and mounted them to the rack, using the existing mounting holes in the rack. There is about 1/8" from the rack to the box. I used a couple of rubber washers to take up the slack.jb said:Hello,
I have same bike - 2016 ES - I just sent a message to the owner/builder of the Soloboxes yesterday...they look really good... I was thinking about the new slim case (8") on the left side and the regular size (9") on the right... I see you are using the PL-2119 Givi racks... I would like to know what the distance is from the top mounting holes to the outer edge of the rack on the right side... reason I need this measurement is that I have a Give 47 liter top case that is quite wide...and I don't know if the new hinged box (right side) will open with the top case mounted... it looks like I need about 3 inches of clearance from the mounting bolts...
Thanks,

No. You can get them from Happy Trails. I opted to mount mine directly to the Givi quick disconnect racks I put on the bike. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/givi-pl2119-plr2119-side-case-racks-yamaha-super-tenere-2010-2018Dshane said:In regards to the Solo Boxes, do they come with the "pucks"? Thank you. Dave
I ordered mine on 3/9 and he said they were going to be power coated the next day and it should take about 10 days. Still waiting for mine also.jjc1957 said:How long from the time you placed your order did you receive the order? I placed my order on 3/6/18 it is now 3/27/18 and no order received. I sent Eric and email and he said they are at powder coating. He said the same thing on the 14th? Can't wait until I get them they look great and my racks are mounted and ready.
