I have used this jacket in all weather conditions and it has kept me dry and warm. It includes all original armor – shoulders, elbows and back. There are two liners – waterproof and insulated. The insulated liner has never been used as I have a heated jacket that keeps me warm in the cold.
Jacket is used with a couple of flaws – the Velcro closures on the sleeves does not stay closed if using short gloves, they are fine when I use my gauntlet gloves. This is not a big issue as when wearing short gloves it is always warmer and dry. The jacket is also somewhat faded due to use, and there are a few stains – the worst being on the back of the collar (see pictures). There are no tears or abrasions and all the zippers work.
One of the best features of this jacket is the removable storm collar – when you get caught in a west coast down pour and the temperature drops this collar seals out the cold and the wet. See video for better description.
I am 6'1” and 230 lbs and in the picture I have on both liners.
