Soft Luggage mount advice

I have some Enduristan soft panniers which fit nice and close to the bike without any mounts, however they do swing about a bit.
So I'm looking for some small mounts or "stand offs" to attach the bags to. The mounts don't need to carry any weight and I don't want the bags sticking out too much so standard hard pannier mounts would be too OTT.

I've trawled the web but not come up with anything. Any suggestions?

Assuming you don't want to mount pannier rails or racks? How about taking off the passenger grab handles, trun them upside down and swap sides, you'll have your stand-off's.............

Thanks. Yeah, I've tried this but they aren't low enough to stop the bags swinging into the bike. Someone must make racks for soft panniers...

When I owned a V-Strom, I got what basically was a 'rod or flat bar' that ran almost a diagonal from the grab rail to the passenger foot peg bolt and this was to keep soft bags from swinging into the wheel /exhaust. Would it be worth exploring making something like that for your needs, B&Q sells alu flat bar......... just a suggestion.

Yeah, I guess if I can't find anything available commercially then I may have to make something...
I do wonder what everyone else who uses soft panniers does. :/

Some people use rear protection bars, others use the hard pannier mounts from a variety of brands. The HD centric crowd has a variety of saddlebag support brackets for this kind of thing. LINK

I run the SWMotech soft panniers and they came with a steel frame to keep the panniers out of the wheel. You might be able to buy just the frame and use it for your panniers? The SWMotech work very well and the panniers actually latch to the frame (small plastic hook) to help keep them in place when empty. The right hand side frame is spaced out to match the left hand side (which has the exhaust) and I was able to fit a small metal lockable storage box in that space (between the motorcycle and the pannier frame) so I always have a puncture repair kit and compressor on the bike.

I have the Mosko Moto bags and mounts on Touratech panniers. Rock solid and compress down when not in use.

Just get the cheapest racks with flat sides. Happy Trails are good, Tusk, Givi, etc. Get some big plastic cutting boards from ikea and mount them to the racks with some HD hardware. Shop right and you're <$180 all in.

The muffler on the left will keep that bag out of the wheel. On the right, if this doesn't do, you can put a strap from where the rear handle attaches to the right passenger footage.
