We all have a certain passion for our 2wheeled friend, it maybe your #1 love or not.
What else stir's your passion in life, maybe this is not the only forum you hang around at...or lust you have.

I love my Tenere but i must confess, it might not be my #1 love. I'm kinda flaky and moody in that area. I think the seasons play a large role in who i currently love and who gets neglected.
I do feel bad about it, well kinda because i know the spark will rekindle soon.

Being in Canada, sleds(snowmobiles) are my passion right now and have been part of my life equally as long as motorcycles, so the season got me by the balls again and the sleds have dominated my time.
Soon i will loose the feeling and the Tenere will be back in my heart but not with out a little competition with the boat. Gosh i hate it when they argue for my attention.

Well said sir! I have to agree my attention gets very divided. However that being said here in Northern Virginia snowmobiles are not really a thing, we have opted for 4wheelers, but the reality is winter is simple a nuisance.

This is my first winter with the TENERE and I’ve ridden as much as possible (anything above 20 Fahrenheit without precipitation.) it will definitely be a competition between the boat and the bike when winter finally goes away.

I started in motorcycles in 1970 and about the same time enjoyed pinball machines. I still like my motorcycles and pinball machines. I have 5 games here at home. Fun to have a few beers, listen to music and play with the machines when it's winter and can't ride.

I go through phases. Flying was a passion, ATV motocross was a passion, guns, roller coasters when my daughter was younger, and just last month I dug out what's left of my guitars and hung back up to see if easy access would get me playing again. Apparently not.

Through it all, only motorcycles have been the one passion that has never faded.

Blasphemy!!
I get up in the morning thinking about my motorcycles, think about them most of the day and go to sleep dreaming of motorcycles. Sometimes I think about my wife. Mostly motorcycles. Or motorcycle trips. Or motorcycle riding friends. Today the sun was shining and I was thinking about riding my motorcycle even though it was -2 degrees. 200 kms later I was thinking about how warm it must be in our house.20210204_145139.jpg

Our seasons are not like they use to be, they are more like blended now, LOL.
There was a time we had a distinctive winter with lots of snow and cold temps but not so much anymore. I love the seasons even though having a more consistent all around weather sounds appealing and riding the Tenere all year round would be cool. I don't know if i could live without the seasons. Its in the blood i guess.

Hahaha, hope your wife don't read this or you might be cozying a few nights with the Super T.
Pretty warm for Ontario, you guys generally get cold stuff.

Just seemed appropriate to share at this point in the conversation.

I do really enjoy and love my S10, my best since I being in bikes, but when the weather allows me to do something else I do have my hobbies for the night and no ride days, and also enjoy them very much!
I hope many of you have your bike and a hobby for spare time like me!
A 1962 220b Mercedes Benz
as I started doing some sheet metal fixing and prepairing for painting:

Painted last monday!

This is my other hobby:

Celestron CGEM 925 Edge HD.jpg
As you can see it is in its dome (it took me almost 6 moths to build and install the Telescope)
For sure my bike is very enjoyable as well as the MB re-construction, but at night when I need some rest I go to my observatory and have additional relaxing minutes (hours) too!

I love riding bikes, but I realise I am not particularly adept at doing so. Although my ability from a safety standpoint is eons away from the nor in the Philippines.

Another love is music: all genres but particularly jazz, funk, original r 'n' b, ska, jazz-funk, rare groove, reggae etc.....well, anything danceable as I love dancing too.

I DJ original r 'n' b/ska/shuffle/rock steady/reggae in Manila, under the name of Greedy P, for the B-Side Collective Irie Sunday events. We started with around 50 people in attendance in 2010 and got to the point where we had 1500+ people when reggae dignitaries passed through. It was done in a semblance of a Jamaican sound system with selectahs Red-i, Don P, Soulflowa, Papadom of Red-i Sound (Filipinos), T-Ca$h and Masta T of Big Answer Sound (Japan), NoNo Norris King of Legal Shot Sound (France) and myself Greedy P of Sunshine Sound (ex-Chalkie/LTJ Bookem sound, UK). Also, two live bands... Free at the gate!

We are currently trying to sort out another venue - as a new residential block and sound abatement closed the Collective just over a year ago. The last week saw 3,000+ people every night.

2021 was pegged for a 12/15,000 mile camping trip around Europe in a Caterham 7 - my favorite car and another love. I cannot import one into the Philippine, so I am stuck with a Fozzie dropped onto WRX running gear. I have had to put the trip on hold during covid and will reassess whether 2022 is a go or not. The plan is, buy a 7, do the trip, sell the 7 - the benefit with a 7 is that they suffer very, very little depreciation. I drove a 7 in the UK and I was often in Scotland on camping expeditions - 7s and camping are off the list in tha Peeelies sadly, as Caterham will not export and the temps for camping are nightmarish.

Originally my vocation, I also love driver coaching. I coach for free here (well, maybe a lunch here and there) and am always available to anyone that wants to ensure their drive is swift and safe. Not my real forte, but I also coach limit handling that put pointers that have skimmed tenths off a Philippine Touring Car Champion's lap times and corrected incorrect instruction at premier schools.

Cooking: love this too. Primarily, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Italian, French, etc. See Food Porn

Unfortunately due to genetic hearing loss, music just isn’t the same for me. I hear a something playing today that I loved 20 years ago and it just sounds different. I am starting to appreciate peace and quiet more sometimes.

I used to be into Vintage Jeep’s. Still own this one but seldom take it out. It’s in excellent mechanical condition, but to be driven and wheeled it could use some better upgrades. It’s hard to upgrade and destroy the vintage originality.
