Nothin wrong with owning a ZR ::008:: 91 ZR750 Zephyr. This model Kawasaki isn't very common here in Canada and to date we haven't seen a ZR 1100 so I don't know if the 1100 got imported here. A previous project done by my son and myself.

Don't see anything "girly" about it. (them)

In fact, I don't even know what makes a bike a girls bike. Just because a girl rides it? If that were true, then a GSXR1000 is a girly bike.

I love those old school oil-cooled i-4 bikes of my past. I ruled the world on a few of them. (Can't believe I survived some of the stuff I did on them)

Sold the FJR, it only did 400 miles last year.

Still going to keep the old XJR 1300 ::26::

Grumpy -
That's a pretty FJR and looks well set up.
Thanks, over the years I added lots of extras (including stuff from the USA) but since I bought the Tenere for touring it was only doing about 400 miles a year, someone from the U.K. FJ/FJR owners site bought it. After many years of sterling service the old XJR is now my hobby bike, we are both retired and now she mainly goes out on club night and sunny day runs. Although, the photo was taken last year at a naked bike meeting in Rotterdam, Holland.

I have enjoyed many different bikes over the years. The one period that sticks out in my mind is the mid 80's. The late 70's had a large number of bikes on the road with the Japanese ruling and Harley's almost left for dead. By the mid 80's, the Japanese bikes came in so different styles but nobody was buying them and Harley turned inward to reinvent itself with the 84 evos. What made the mid 80's cool was I would be the only bike on the road (either my CBX or later my XT) and it was special to see another biker. All those 70's Japanese riders must have returned to the sport by the 90's, 00's because the roads became crowed again.

I've spent most my life the mid/southwest USA so I'm sure things were different elsewhere.

LOL - That was my first and I had to share it with a cousin, since the title was in his name.

This is also the same bike I started on, It was a red one that dad bought new. I wish I still had that one. My brother and I really trashed it.

Adding a Beta 350RRS to the garage today, to keep the Tenere company. difficult to find a decent dirt bike you can ride year round in without buying a plated bike. Now the boss says i have to sell the KTM. ::021::

1972/73 Honda XL 250. I don't own it but I got it running. It's my brother's. It's my "Iowa bike" for frequent trips back to visit family. Runs pretty good for 45 years old. Some parts are hard to find. Tach cable gave it up yesterday. Really needs rear shocks, and tires. (For some reason, I'd rather put money in my ST.) I did rebuilt the forks already. It biggest issue after sitting around for many years was the fuel system. Fortunately you can still buy gasket kits. Quite a few dents and dings, scrapes and scratches. (Man are those foot pegs high, coming off the S10.) Usually starts on the first or second kick. And you don't have to worry about the battery tender!

I'll try to grab/post a photo later.
