Taking a bit of a long shot to try and help a friend find a Super Tenere front wheel. My buddy managed to bend one pretty bad on a killer pothole. How he didn't crash it too I really don't know. Anyhow, his beloved Super Tenere is now sitting idle for want of a new wheel. If you have one you are willing to part with let me know. Yes, he has been in touch with Woody's about rebuilding the wheel. They are willing to give it a try but can't promise that it won't crack in the process, and the cost of them trying to put it back in shape is pretty dear.

Is the whole wheel damaged or just the rim?

toss the rim. It is almost impossible to get it back to shape. IMHO, New rim and laces is the safest and least expensive option

Good luck

Agreed. The trouble seems to be finding one to buy. In the meantime, he's solved the problem by ordering a new T7!

ROFL! Is he going to attach crutches on the front end of the ST?

FYI.....Partszilla claims they can ship a new rim in 2-3 days

So, my friend reported in today. He's found a front wheel, should be in hand tomorrow. In the meantime, his new T7 has yet to arrive.
