Just received my new winglets that I ordered from Slipscreens in the UK about three weeks ago. Quality surpasses what I hoped for. Stainless roundhead flanged bolts. I got the solid, gloss black version, but many colors and shades available. They are very thick at 5 mm (measured) and the edges are smooth and polished. Oem are 4 mils (I think), while the junky Powerbronze ones I had on my 2012 were 3 mils with water jet marks along the edges and no attempt to smooth them over. Very pleased. Highly recommended if you are thinking about them. About $55 with shipping to US. Couldn't find if these have been discussed before.

Their website has pictures. They're modeled closely on the OEMs, just thicker and available in lots of colors and tints. I don't think my post is worthless without pics since what I was relaying was the quality. Top notch.

Well there wasn't an emoticon for could be better with pics. I for one never heard of these guys, and would have liked to see pics. And you could post pics of what made you happy, as opposed to what the marketing team from the vendor thinks will sell product.

Hi there Greenwall

I'm thinking about getting a set of those but i'm undecided about the size. Can you tell me please the approx. size (length and width). Thanks.

So I ordered a set of these on eBay and immediately realized that they were for the Gen I Tenere. I included a note to Slipscreen in the order about the mistake and that I needed a set for a Gen II (2014) Tenere (did this very late on a Saturday night & not paying attention - yep, I made the initial mistake). I also sent another note to the vendor asking if they had acknowledged my first note about needing a set for a Gen II and got a response that they thought that the order had already been processed and was unable to tell me what had been sent (?). So if I receive a set for a Gen I, can I easily adapt these for the 2014 year model? I'd hate to have to eat the return postage to the UK and wait another 2-4 weeks for the correct ones to arrive.

They are 10.5 inches in length by 4 inches in width. I don't have an OEM pair in front of me, but as I said earlier they are probably copied almost exactly.

Thanks Greenwall that’s exactly the information I was looking for because I will most likely be shortening a set of winglets from a 2013 Tenere to make them fit a 2018.

Are you still pleased with these?

I have Slipscreen winglets and I can confirm that they are higher quality and half the price of the Yamaha items. They are the same size but made from 5mm thick material. Slipscreen also do standard and touring screens made to the same high standards.
