Which slip on exhaust do people recommend?
Forget the leave it stock comments.
I want a nice sounding, lighter exhaust.
Not noisy, but sweet sounding and better looking.
I realize that power increase is negligible.

I went with the Two Brothers slip on and it fit but couldn't use the crush gasket. Sounds good, not too loud and I did purchase the repacking kit on ebay for $19.00. I purchased it used on this site for $230.00. So much lighter then the stock and now I can hear my bike with my full faced helmet on. I have put around 12,000 miles on the bike with this exhaust and have not had to repack yet. My wife does tell my I have selective hearing but does say it is not as loud as my last Harley was. I would buy again. As for looks you really can't see it with the rear boxes on and I ride with them on most of the time. Sorry for the bad pictures but never tried taking pictures of my exhaust.

I'm with Jeff and will give the Delkevic cans a +1. Specifically the 14in Stubby. During the black friday this year I scored one new (well....actually my girlfriend did) for $185 shipped. Even without the coupon, they are an incredible deal at ~$200. They have a removable baffle insert included as well.

This is an American website.
I would like to buy one but I will not pay the ridiculous exchange, brokerage and duty let alone the taxes.
An American website? You're in Canada, you'll be paying through the nose regardless.

hello SJC. I have ran the two brothers slip on for 50,000 miles now and still love the thing. I am sure about all of the companies make the close to the same thing so you should be good with what ever you decide to use. Mine when cruising nice and easy is very quiet with low thump to it. It gets louder if you hammer on it but nothing like some Harley's I have heard. I can ride the interstate all day with out issues too.

Right now its cheaper for us Canadians to buy from Europe. All my farkles came from UK. Exept my Moose racks that I had to get for the pannier I have. I will be getting one too, just for the cheap weight savings, there is a couple companies in UK, and Eu. I'm looking at no brokerage and shipping is half, and faster. weird, but it is. Dominator is popular in EU racing, 5 year guarantee db killer. Shipped and delivered for about $270-290 can. Had one for my Vstrom, they are not loud which is what I want.

Thanks for the information.

I bought a Madstad windsield bracket from the U S of Ache that cost me $97.00 in brokerage and duty when it arrived at my door. Just plain criminal as far as I’m concerned.

Akrapovic for me was by far the best quality and best looking but it comes at a price and has no removable baffle and I wanted it a little louder so I sold it and got a Yoshi. It was also too quiet for me so I removed the baffle and it was just right until I added an arrow header then it was too loud. I butchered the baffle upon removal due to a larger than normal tack weld on the screw so I could not put it back in so I sold it and got an arrow muffler and run it with the baffle out and it's perfect for me. The arrow is larger than yoshi's,two bros and Delkovic so it does a better job at muffling with the baffle out.
