Kind of a silly question, but I'm looking at getting a slip-on muffler, and am looking at the Yoshi RS4 13120HD520 and the Akra S-Y12SO2-HAAT, and have some questions before making such a large purchase.
1) Are these compatible with OFM side cases?
2) Any issues with melting the plastics on the case or tail section?
3) Is the Akra worth the extra $335 over the Yoshi? (Both sound great to me)

Bike is a 2016 Non-ES if that matters

The 14” Delkevic works fine with the OEM cases and doesn’t melt anything. Much less expensive than those you’re considering.

Dpatt711, both the Yoshi and the Akrapovich are compatible with luggage and are plastics friendly as they both have downward angled exits. I know the Delkevics are popular with some but others have reported melted indicators and plastics. It may be the way they were installed. I would like an Akrapovich but would find it hard to justify the extra money over the Yoshi. By the way, Arrow do some nice end cans too.

I have a Yoshi RS4 and it's great, no heat issues with a lovely note, not too loud and significantly lighter than OEM.

This is true. You have to use the included hanger bracket to drop the outlet below the rear signal indicator as the outlet is only mildly turned down.
