Not sure about part #, but any 43mm SKF fork seal and dust seal should work. Nothing special about the tenere forks.
OEM stuff actually holds up ok.

Thanks Greg! I checked few websites like revzilla etc... they list the SKF seals but tenere won't show up on bike selector and phone guy can't tell me what size seals they carry. It's weird. I need to to find a 43mm yamaha yz and cross reference the part#.

Hi ! Does anyone know what part # SKF seal kit is under that will fit our forks? Thanks.
If you want just the oil seal it is OSB 43K, If you want the kit with one dust and one oil then it is KITB-43K.

I have tested several seals and the SKF had the least stiction of any. They also seal the best IMO even over NOK.

http://www.innteck-usa.com/products/fork_seals/?ProductID=187 SKF page from Innteck which is the distributor for SKF.

My only 2cents is don't cheap out/buy a company no one has heard of. Made that mistake rebuilding cbr forks ended up needing new stantion tubes(500$).

Agreed. I run SKFs on my xc300, and put them through absolute hell. I'll get 80 hrs + out of a set, as long as I clean them. And I don't run neoprene socks, as they have a tendency to trap crap, and work it into the fork oil.
KTM has been cheeping out on thier oem seals up to 2016. I think in 2017 they went to SKF. Even smaller brands like Beta, and Sherco run SKFs as standard.

The yamaha oem seals will hold up well, as long as they are looked after (clean your fork tubes after a muddy ride).
I do not buy anything other than OEM for my street bikes and SKF for off road work. All the other brands are crap.

Not so fast there. 43mm forks seals come with 53, 54, & 55mm OD's so you have to have the correct size. The S10 seals are 43-55-10.5mm (id-od-thickness) and all three numbers must match. OEM seals are the best, but if you're going to use aftermarket, the All Balls kit #56-135 would be your best bet. JMHO.

All balls kit is what I put in my Tenere about 5,000 miles ago, seems to be working great so far. Also been using all balls seal kits in my wing for the past 300,000 miles, never any issues that bother me, yes because of the double lip seals they do have slightly more stiction but that doesn't bother me at all.

Sorry for digging this up.

Just wanted to be sure that SKF part number and/or those specs is OK for 2012. Ebay site said that part number is for 2014-2016 non es. I'm guessing they are the same, but I no wanna guess.

Ive been running the SKF seals on both my KTM 300 and Beta 498 for years. Great seals and never had a issue with a leak.

Actually, there are two different AB part numbers. 56-135 fits 2012-2013 & 56-137 fits 2014 and up.

SKF are good seals, but I wouldn't want to put in a thinner seal and use a spacer to take up the slack.

I've changed a few hundred sets or fork seals and when mine need replacing, I'm putting in the OEM Yamaha seals. JMO
