Hmmmm I just checked again and I'm gone. Wiped out Nuked. Thrashed. Oh well, it's not like I have any visitors. Troll is the only one I can find. Sure good to know he's "no gender". I was gonna ask .... R ::025:: ::025:: ::025::
Rem, I am...without definition, all things - there is no separation. I better lighten up it is a bit early for deep dialogue. :-*

I was looking at the map last night and saw you and Pat as well as myself.

Hey, I just checked and I'm back, but now Pat is gone. I only find myself and Troll. Oh well, at least I know I'm still around. For now. R ::012::

Well Tapatalk worked all of a day and a half for me now all I get on my phone is failed to connect and to email them for help. I've gone back and forth with them and they can't seem to fix it. So I guess I have to cancel the app and try and get my four bucks back.

Black Berry Bold. They have already processed my refund. It's a shame I really liked that app it was working fine then nothing. The Tapatalk tech person stated he couldn't figure out which Super Tenere site we were in order to help me. He said there are three and they are all too similar to tell the difference. Sounds crazy to me.

I turned off the pin clustering on the Member Map, it was annoying.

Vince, not sure what to say about the Tapatalk woes, maybe it's a Blackberry bug.

Sounds like he was blowing smoke. Three forums for the SuperT? Maybe so, if you count the ones in other countries.

No worries Chris it was fun while it lasted and I agree the BB phones are glitchy at best. The tech didn't seem too swift when I was dealing with him.

I don't really like the way they've architected Tapatalk at all. They've created an artificial dependency on their own servers so that (I presume) they can some day charge forum owners for the offering as well as the mobile users for the app. They've created complexity where it need not be, IMO.

Not sure about the forum owners, but they are all ready charging for the app. I did save a buck by buying mine through Amazon's app store ($1.99 versus the normal $2.99)

Yeah, makes no sense to charge the forum owners - that's a small group number-wise. Charge those that access the forums, that number is 1,000s if not 10,000s more of a market base... charging forum owners will just piss them off and they'll disable the plug-in.. that's what I'd do.

I set my location on my profile, but it still doesn't show up on the member map...and I know I'm not the only owner in Phoenix!

You could, but you'd probably think twice about it if half your traffic came from Tapatalk users. Once you're dependent on their app you really end up with a tough decision, pay or go without. Perhaps they'll never pull that lever, but they certainly could if they wanted to.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I have a lot that use it but really it's only those with iphones that are somewhat dependent as that will allow them to upload pics from their phone. On most other phones, a lightweight wireless style. Phones are getting faster and faster and phone browsers better and better. Won't be long before forum software contains better built in WAP styles.
