Pass the popcorn and dim the lights.
Always looking to find a new film to add to the "que" as well as share my favorites with others. I'll pose a couple a questions to get this going:
1. Is there an upcoming film your excited to see?
For me it's the new Top Gun! I'm equally excited to see the planes and motorcycles take center-stage. The Ninja from the first movie was one of my favorite movie motorcycles growing up. I had a toy F-14 that had buttons quoting dialogue from the Mig encounters.
1.A From skimming around past forums, I think it looks like there maybe some fellow aviation enthusiasts as well. Maybe a new thread?
2. What's some of your favorite movies? Most quotable?
A couple of my favorites: Better Off Dead, Lord of the Rings Saga, Galaxy Quest, Monty Python and the Holy Grail to name a few
3. Was there a motorcycle(s) in a movie/tv that got you interested in the hobby? Or one(s) that influenced your taste in bikes?
Besides the Ninja from Top Gun, I also really liked the Honda Transalp from the Parody Hot Shots as a kid. I first wanted more of an adventure style motorcycle was from watching the BMW F 650 CS Scarver What A Girl Wants, the idea of going anywhere in London with Amanda Bynes was quite appealing for a middle schooler! I've always gravitated more to UJM's and standards so I really liked the Norton in Heartland.
Looking at the list of bikes I liked on film, pretty ease to trace a line to how I ended up on a Tenere!
