They do tend to keep you on your toes. In the first picture, the rocks and trail are all covered in talcum powder like dust, making them move under you like marbles, not much fun for any distance. I think the section in the 2nd photo is about 1/2 mile long with several steps tossed in for added pleasure.
Off subject but I grew up in Lakewood and lived there until 1999 when I moved to western South Dakota. Lived on Green Mountain most of the time down towards the south just north of Morrison Road.

Ok, I've driven the RT on a road like that in the last picture. I went slow, and wove my way around the bigger rocks, and banged the lower cowl a time or two. I can only imagine that the Tenere would be much easier. . . . how wrong am I? And, yes, if I rode on those kind of roads, I would use appropriate tires instead of straight street tires.

Today’s roads were easy and great. A couple Rocky sections, a good skid plate is a must. Never been on this road and wanted to see where it went. That is what makes the Tenere so special to me. It’s like a two wheeled atv.

I think the biggest reason that I'm a pavement princess, is that I don't have any roads like that around here like those. The one I rode on was short, and level. I'm thinkin' that if I can do a cone course, those roads might be fun.
