My favourite road signs are the ones in the picture!

While out exploring the Bruce Peninsula this year, I stumbled on another little used road. It wasn't challenging but a nice surprise to make the ride interesting! I uploaded some of the video here:

the sign isn't real, as far as I know,
but the necessity was,
back in 2013, before I started riding with a gopro,
somewhere on Idaho #71 between Brownlee and Cambridge...

you will always regret the photos you don't take.....

I have a file photo somewhere of a cemetery in Louisiana. They 'bury' folks above ground there. Anyway, there was this 25' long paved street butting into the side of the cemetery with a big yellow Dead End sign at the intersection. Makes me grin even now.

A sign at the now gone Wildwood Store declared there to be over 2000 turns on this road.

I had given some thought to printing out a map and attempting a count after I went over that route a few weeks back. What an incredible ride. Missed breakfast at the Samoa Cookhouse though.

This might not be what you was expecting but it is one of the least seen, most remote signs in North America. North Canol Road.

A couple of my favourites. No services for 370 km. First assault of the Dempster highway to Inuvik in 2010 was a success, our recent attempt by 7 of us this past summer wasn't. We were turned back at the Tombstone interpretive centre after being advised that the road was closed at Km 286 due to forest fires on both sides of the road along with fire crews working.
There is talk of another attempt for Inuvik and Tuk in 2019.

Hard to pick a favorite.

I like this one enough I have a T-shirt with it.

This one was common in British Columbia. See sign, hear wife say, "aw crap." Makes me chuckle.
