Thinking about buying a set of Shock Sox for our Tuktoyaktuk trip next month, what size do you recommend 6 inch or 13 inch ? Thanks.

Great investment--though I've only ever used the Kriega variety and Dirt Skinz. Had frequent front shock leaks on my Husky and then installed a set of these, no more issues in over 10k miles of dirt. Installed them on my S10 a few days after purchasing the bike used. Did a quick fork oil change and slapped them on, easy peasy.

I used Shock Sox's lasted about two years and started drying out.

I use these now, one is enough for both sides.
I cut it in half and zip tied the top twice and one at the bottom while the Velcro hold it together.
Just noticed one tie popped off need to replace it.
They have been on almost a year and are holding better than the Shock Sox's did.
Have the other for when it gives out.
