Keep me posted on this, Ed. I was enjoying a tour of Colorado during the first one.

Matter of fact, we might see if these guys would want to try some of our favorite roads. How about lunch at Bixby?

...Bixby....?????

can ya throw us a link / map / etc..?

I'd be up for it.

Right in the middle of some of the best roads in the USA. I hosted a HSTA rally in this area for about 10 years and mapped out a very fun 300 + or - loop that includes this section. Great fun, very little traffic, and roads that will make you grin from ear to ear.
We generally had our rally HQ in Park Hills, MO.

I tried to post a link to a map, but it didn't work. Just go to Google Maps and search for Bixby, MO.

Hi Bob,

No, we didn't go that far west. I have ridden 160 across MO and it is a good road. One of our MSTA (used to be HSTA) rallies is on Bull Shoals lake on hwy 160.

No, I have ridden that route across MO and it is a a good road. I have ridden to a MSTA rally on the Bull Shoals lake and taken 160 to get there and enjoyed it. My route didn't go that far west.

I will guarantee you will love this area. The Bixby country store has some fantastic food as well :)
Let's gets some dates thrown out there, what works for everyone or most ?
I ride this area every weekend so I'm pretty much wide open.

well - laddies...

just up the road from Bixby is Potosi - which has this coming in early October.

http://www.gatewayriders.com/frmGeneral/b1FallingLeafRally.php

It is a favorite of mine to attend...although we could certainly do a gathering waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before October too.

Fred 'n freak -- throw out some dates and let's see who we can catch...

I've got a friend who lives in Bella Vista AR who would be prime for coming too.
