Mine did the same thing. There's a thread on here somewhere about it, it's the number 14 seal. I searched but couldn't find it but ill keep looking. Someone posted a real good write up with pics with the fix.

You have to have a special tool to pull the bearing. Lucky mine was under warranty, woo hoo YES!!! The shop wouldn't take it apart though. They ordered a whole new rear end instead and just took the old one off and put a new one on. Took about 3 1/2 weeks to get it from Japan and back on the road but all good now.

Depending how deep you have to dig, this may also help,

Thanks for replying! I’m letting the dealer do it. I saw you need bearing puller. Everything turns fine not hear any obvious noise? I want the whole thing checked out. Thanks

Don’t know what kind of device you’re using, I happen to use an iPad and all I do is copy the photo and I’m able to simply paste it into my reply .

Just from what I read on here you need the special tool, bearing puller I cant remember, to get to the leaking seal. If I hear special tool I already know it's past my ability.

Mine didn't make any noise or seemed to run any different it was just leaking.
