No, it's not mine!!!!!

The dealer I ordered mine from has a customer that has backed out of his order. SOOOO, there is a spot open for a Raven that is already on order. It was ordered within the first 3 weeks of Sept.

If you would like it, email me direct at hobarthaar@hotmail.com

Pass the word.

Wow! Someone over there on your side of the Continental Divide is going to get lucky with that.

Was there something wrong with the bike that made you cancel?
It wasn't Jeff's bike. He was simply passing along the info. I'm sure it was a case where someone had to cancel for personal reasons.

So, I guess the Dealer can't cancel the order with Yamaha if someone backs out?

nope...down pay money solidifies the sale as far as Yammy is concerned.

Dealer "could" put it into inventory - and might just do that, if he thinks he could get something near retail for it.

Having another satisfied customer with a brand new sled in the front of the line makes for a compelling offer...eh?

Not sure about that. I think the only thing about the deposit is that it's non-refundable. I don't believe they could force you to buy the bike.

Placing a deposit on the bike, does not mean you have to purchase the bike. I do believe the dealer will have to accept delivery of the bike once it is ordered.

But it may mean you can lose your deposit, although most dealers are not enforcing Yamaha's non-refundable policy and it may not be enforceable depending on state law and your sales contract (if one was signed). This is definitely something to discuss with the dealer prior to making the deposit.

After your dealer ordered your S10, he received a $500 invoice on his next statement from Yamaha USA, which he paid along with his invoice for other Yamaha parts, etc.
