I Purchased a SENA PRISM TUBE WIFI CAMERA recently and I'm using the clamp on mount (to my helmet). which comes with the camera. I don't use it for vlogging and it's a camera only with no two way communication. Although Sena does sell other models that communicate with other Sena video cameras.
It's a great little camera that captures your ride in amazing colour and resolution.
Once you get your head around using it, I find it is very user friendly. It simply turns on and off by pulling the front of the camera fore and aft.
It does have a built in battery, but it's limited to only one hour of recording on a cold day and two hours on a warm day.
No problem as I bought a power pack (10,000ma) and then the camera will run continously all day. It has a micro sd card capacity of 64gb. I run a 32 gb, cause I happened to have one and I can get up to 3 to 4 hours of recording time.
The reason for having this camera (for me that is) for use as a "silent witness" in the event I needed it.
I really don't care what happened an hour ago unless of course there was an incident. I have my camera set to record video at 30 fps and 1440p.
I have it set to "loop" so when the micro sd card is full it just continues recording over the oldest footage on the chip card.
(Take that Gopro)
For the price paid (on sale now in Canada at Fort 9 for $169.95 + taxes its a bargain.
Sena support as been extremely helpful.
Anyone else out there with this camera???

Hey there. I have been thinking of getting a camera but just didn't want to spend the big bucks for a Go Pro. I was not fond of the newer Go Pros as only one had a replaceable battery and memory, this sounds like a good deal. Let me know when you get some miles on it. How is the hook up to the computer?

Hey there four stroke, er Suck Squeeze Bang Blow, ha ha, my helicopter instructor used that description for a piston engine.
I'm having great success with my Sena prism tube wifi camera. This evening I watched a video play back on my laptop from my Sena prism tube wifi camera.
A much much younger mate of mine and I did a ride yesterday and visited a few of my fising holes. The roads leading into these fishing areas are anything but pretty. Hills rocks and gravel.
Paul rides an Africa Twin, along with being less than half of my age , so I was at my limit and he was not fussed.
We all survived thankfully, if all that you need is great video, get yourself a Sena prism tube wifi. Fart nine $169 +TX

When my oldest son was a flight instructor that is the description he used to describe how the plane engine worked, really made me laugh and it just stuck.
Thanks for the feed back, just a couple of other questions, is the battery replaceable? Maybe you are out all day and want to have a back up charged battery. Would be easier than charging it as you go. Also can you take memory chips out? Again, maybe you are out all day and want to take the more video and don't want to copy the footage you have already taken and download it to a laptop.

Thanks!

Hello SSBBlow,
The Sena Prism tube wifi camera:
The camera has its own internal battery which will power the camera for about an hour on a cool day and maybe up to two hours on a hot day.
Solution...buy a battery pack from the Source or Walmart. Mine is 10,000 milli amps. The camera has a port at the rear which accepts a micro USB cable so you can power the camera all day long with the power pack plugged into the camera.
My power pack is the size of a mid size smartphone.
The camera takes up to a 64 GB micro USB card. Depending on the resolution you set the camera to, will determine the file sizes.
I use 30 fps and 1440p. With a 32 GB card = approximately 2 1/2 hours of video.
Video quality is excellent and the camera is very steady as it is attached to your helmet. Camera comes with the helmet mount and a small micro USB/USB cable. U need to buy a micro USB card.
Hope this helps

You can plug the USB directly into your laptop and play the videos and or copy the video files you want to save. The camera is controlled by app, a free Sena prism tube wifi app. Download the app onto your smartphone. The app communicates with the camera via wifi. Note, first turn off your home wifi on the smartphone that is ensure your date on your smartphone is off. Then turn on the camera and open the Sena prism tube wifi app and tell the smartphone to connect to the camera.
Now go to settings, I use the loop function and 30 fps at 1440p.
Replace the battery, hmmm I have hear its possible, but not out on the road, just have a spare micro sd card. I use the camera primarily as a silent witness in the event of an accident or incident.
Having said, the camera films where you are looking, so if you look down at your speedometer the video will display your speed..solution, masking tape.
Any additional questions, please let me know. I've nailed 6,000 km so far this season.
