Hi. My experiences with Scorpion Flip-Up helmets...

I've always liked SHOEI helmets and have owned five different models...the best of them being the gen1 Gt-Air. Last year, when I got the Super Tenere, I decided to buy a new flip-up ADV helmet. There weren't many options and I didn't want to pay, for example 600 euros for Schuberth E1. Then I noticed the Scorpion ADX-2 helmet, whose features impressed me. I took the risk, I had never seen it live, but I still decided to order it. When the helmet arrived, I was really positively surprised! The size was just right and felt comfortable on my head. I think the finish is in the same category as expensive helmets, and I was surprised that it is not noisier than for example my Gt-Air. What a price with all these features!!

Then... last week I saw a great offer on the Scorpion EXO-930 helmet in the same online store. I accepted the offer and today it arrived... again, I'm very happy with this purchase! This multi-purpose helmet is what I use when I ride my FJR, but also on my other bikes. Scorpion maybe a bit heavier than expensive helmets, but I don't mind.

Based on my experience, I can recommend Scorpion helmets... Cheers! :)

Those both look like very nice helmets. I’ve heard plenty of good things about Scorpion helmets but here in the USA not many dealers carry them.
Scorpion does also seem to build a lot of very odd looking helmets that seem like not many folks would be interested in buying.

Yep. Scorpion helmets are available from a few retailers in Finland, but I ordered both of these from Germany. Some of Scorpion's models are admittedly rather odd looking.

In my opinion, the price-quality ratio is good for these helmets!

I too have and looking for a modular helmet. Scorpion was one of the brands I went and tried on at Cycle Gear. I’ll probably end up buying one. As for the price and features. It’s an unbelievable product.

I think it was the EXO I looked at, really liked it except you could not wear it with the clear shield unless you had the chin bar on. I have always liked them though.

Does Scorpion do anything fancy with blue tooth? Or just regular retrofitting?

Exo-com is without FM-radio, that's a shame. That's why I use the Cardo Freecom 4+, and I'll probably buy the Cardo audio-kit for my new Scorpion helmet as well. This way I can use the same Cardo unit in all my helmets...
