As kids well i say kids but my buddies and i from the age of 16 till 20 something rode a hodge podge of bikes. Some on off road some full street bikes. We off roaded them all. Not gravel roads real @$$ deep muddy ruts made by 44 inch boggers and steep hills and single track dirt bike trails to iced over rivers and creeks. there was a Suzuki 450 and Honda 650 and Harley sportster a Honda 360. and a few other bikes. I am amazed still today where we took those things. As a matter of fact after the pipes were drug off the Harley and Suzuki both were actually good off road. youthful enthusiasm i guess. I will still ride any street bike on gravel roads as far as it takes but i cringe at taking one the places we did as kids. It was dam fun though at the time.
