Well I took the plunge about 4 weeks ago. I really wanted my next bike to be the T7. The dealers around me already have deposits on them. I suspected they were not going to deal on them as the demand appears high and the demand for my 2012 S10 with 50K miles is pretty low. I as a habit do not buy new bikes. I usually buy 2-3 year old bikes for a bargain. And this is a 3 year old NEW bike. The offer I got from this high volume Honda dealer was too good to pass up. My 2012 and a check for $3500 and I left with a New 2017 AT with a factory centerstand. The standard model does not come stock with a centerstand. I am rapidly closing in on retirement and the S10 is just getting too heavy for me. In a few years when I replace the AT there will be plenty of used T7 around by then. Also there are rumors of a Honda 750 Adventure bike. I have a few friends on AT"s and have switched bikes while on rides. The Tenere is clearly the asphalt winner and the AT the off road in direct comparisons for me anyways. Too much snow on the ground to get any riding in. Got some mods to do. Bags, engine guards, tubless conversion with Mitas E07 tires and I think I am set. Oh and I still ride BLUE! I have a 2017 YZ250FX in the garage.
