Have only seen a pic .. not seen them or heard them more to the point. They appear to extract a wee bit more power than the stock can. Generally well constructed with good quality materials. Go for the titanium with carbon end caps. The graph suggests that you can remove the DBK ..... that's a must then. I have a pair of Remus Titanium Revolution GP's on the Storm. Nice sound.

Definitely a better sound. It looks as if the DBK has been removed.

Functions with standard side covers and pillion pegs and luggage, + you get a guarenteed upgrade path to the new MotorradWorks pillion peg carriers when they are released.

Hello Greg,
If lived in AU I'd have ordered it yesterday. But I live in turkey and I don't know how much it's going to cost me to get it here( shipping& customs) on top of that it may not even pass the customs...too many unknowns...

I have just fitted the Remus titanium carbon zorst. With the insert removed it has a nice twin rumble with improved throttle response.

Not a fan of that look or sound. If I change out the exhaust it will be to lose weight and nothing else. Leo Vince has served me well in the past I may go that route on mine or Akra.

I had a BMW K1200RS/ABS - an '03 model - black and put a used Staintune full system on it. Made that bike "sing".

I now have a BMW K1200R.sport with a REMUS on it - found a used one for cheap - and it sounds almost identical to the Staintune.

I prolly will be getting a REMUS for my black S-10 in time...they have a wonderful build quality and sound amazing on "full Howl".!!

I cannot wait to hear some sound clips from actually running the bike through the gears up to redline with a REMUS or Staintune fitted.

That would be a very cool thing to post.

Nice looking exhaust Greg!
Thank's mate... We love it.
Throughout the development stage I had to remove it for a couple of weeks for setting up bending jigs and found the standard pipe bored the shit out of me.

Really looking forward to making the pillion hangers to complete the look and feel.

Greg, maybe hijacking this thread a little, but I think I've seen some dyno results for your exhaust system on the "other" site, but didn't really understand what was being compared to be honest because you also mentioned comparison of systems with a Ducati bike.

Could you post your S10 dyno data here for the Yamaha original system and the Motorrads works exhaust system? Do you have both power and torque dyno data, with and without DBK?

What's your schedule for the dedicated pillion peg? Also, is there a thermal issue for the pillion if the orginal, plastic exhaust shield is left off?

Rmsc, I think Greg at Wasp said he was going to do the dyno test around Christmas when he visits his buddy. I may be off about this, but pretty sure.

Rmac. The dyno pages I posted previously were from my Duc that I manufactured a stepped bore pipe for and was just to show the benefit of such a design.
I have not had the S10 on the dyno to test the std vs MotorradWorks exhaust yet but should be able to find the time around Xmas.

I will be prototyping the pillion hangers from now through Xmas and should have something to report in the next 4 weeks.

I have had no problem with the shroud off the rear but have not ridden with a pillion in that config yet.
The carbon muffler radiates FAR less heat than steel to the point where you can hold a full hand on the muffler for a few seconds while at (hard) running temp.

Thanks for the clarification Greg. It's a very long thread with lots of info to take in.

Love the look of that muffler!

Are you designing the dedicated pillion peg to be compatible with the OEM pannier mounting hardware?

Not for the Yamaha OEM hardware but I will do a laser-cut plate that will utilize the rubber buffer from Yamaha and pick up the box corner at the correct position.
As I have Yamaha and Trax boxes in stock, I will also be doing the same for the trax box.

Greg.
