Problem solved!
A few months ago I lifted the tank to change the air-filter. Turns out that in the process I tilted it too far back and loosened a wire to the fuel pump. I guess the vibrations from the next +-200 miles of riding further loosened it all the way.
My mom had a new car that had about 100 recalls on it. Well it seemed like that. Any way one was the fuel pump replacement. A brand new car! Well she had the work done and we drove it on a 300 mile trip. Stopped for a fill up and it never started again. They didn't get the wiring harness snapped back in and it opened up. Makes you wonder how things will go that far sometimes. I watched a video some a couple in Alaska on a KTM that had a fuel line separate and it would not start up after a night camping. It was not snapped together good. How did they get to where they where? Who knows. things happen don't they? Glad you got it sorted and are road ready again. Ride on and ride safe!
