Confirming my interest in a Gen 1. If possible (cheaper?) to get without the "dash" option that would be my first preference else a solid dash (no holes).

Hi Gordon...

How are the risers coming along.
I'm eager to to get them as I have a large ride in 10 days and need to get them Down Under :)

Cheers

Re: RRR Adjustable Handlebar Risers for the Super Tenere? Need Inputs -

Hi Guys, an update. All of these first 11 will come with my "standard/plain" caps and the accessory caps with the dash. I wasn't going to guess who needed what on these first production models.

The first 5 people on the list to complete their order will get the entire "System" for $100 - that was my offer when I started this thread and that's what it will be. The remaining 6 will be slightly higher to cover the cost of materials and shop time. Guys, the shipping in not included unless of course there are other tools/items you need that qualify. If so, then I'll cover the shipping as part of the Free Shipping offer.

I do have a slight delay - I should start shipping Monday April 18th. My machining partner was at the hospital two days last week with his Dad suffering a massive heart attack, then with his passing on Friday, has been tied-up with the funeral and getting his Mom comfortable. We've lost the whole week doing what he is supposed to do and as all of us would - taking care of his family. I will get images and hi-res photos posted up in a few days.

Best Regards, Gordon

I'll keep you posted and will send each of you notice of payment due when ready.

Hi Gordon, will you be posting a picture or two of the unit installed on a Ténéré?

Hi there, I am new to the thread and this order, but I would be interested in a Gen 2 set for my 2015, a plate with all the stuff installed. It has to go to Canada though, better get it through the border before Donald builds a wall! ::025::

Guys, They Are Ready - I only have 5 Gen 1's and 6 Gen 2's.
As promised, the first 5 people get theirs for $100 + $10 Shipping. Order ANYTHING from my Site and I'll SHIP those FREE (you'll still need to pay the $10 Riser shipping since I'm at a loss on these first 5.

The next 6 people will get them for $125 + $10 shipping. This is my break-even price for just the aluminum, machining, freight, and those specialty bolts up to the task.
Same goes, Order ANYTHING from my Site and I'll SHIP those FREE (you'll still pay the $10 Riser shipping since I'm breaking even on these.)
Message me or send me an email. My plan is to take these over the phone or send you a PayPal Invoice for all the items you want. I cannot add these to the store and control the buyers, so I have no choice but do it manually. You can call me if you like - my number is on the site.

Each of you will get the entire system - Normal Caps, Accessory Caps, and my Dash Plate. For these 11 initial models, I want Photos and Your inputs. Tell me how the instructions were, how you like using the risers, what is the best and worst thing about them, and finally if you used your Dash - What and How did you Use It.

Generation 1 - 2012~2013 Complete Riser System including all bolts, regular caps, accessory caps, and dash plate
I have 5 Sets Total Gen 1's
1) The Helios (December 10th) - Holes - All 3
2) Gonzodog/Jim Robertson (March 1st)
3) Powers USA (March 1st)
4) Slugo65 - Two Holes - Powerlet and Volt Meter Only (no USB)
5) ChuckB (April 5th) - No Holes

Generation 2 - 2014~2015 Complete Riser System including all bolts, regular caps, accessory caps, and dash plate
I have 6 sets of the Gen 2's
1) Tuonodave (December 11th) - Yes all 3 Holes and complete gauge/Powerlet Set
2) Harry Dresden PI (December 13th) - No Holes
3) Ed Regulator (December 13th) - All 3 Holes & Complete Gauge/Powerlet Set
4) Bill Thweatt (December 21st)

I hope my store is working!

Now do keep in mind that I can't put these into my store and keep control of who they go to. You guys were kind enough to give me the confidence to move forward - I want to be sure those of you that stood up get them.

You can call me or email me with the details of items you want.

Thanks, Gordon

And Spinalator, don't give up just yet. I'm not going to sit on these long. If a person on the list changes their mind or waits, then the next person gets the opportunity. I've got to get these into the field and Photos/feedback are what I'm after.

Stay tuned - I'll be pulling names off the list late tomorrow.

Best Regards, Gordon

I received the new bar risers for my '13 from Gordon yesterday. All I can say is WOW, these are super robust. As far as I am aware there is nothing on the market that comes close.

Installation instructions make the install a 10 minute job.

Have not had a chance to ride yet and plan to order longer clutch/brake hoses to get the bars up and back where I need them.

If anyone is thinking about risers you should jump on this. Got mine Friday and they look great. A versatile riser for a versatile bike.

Next month I will be doing about a 1000 miles on them and will report back. ... but honestly, they make sense.

Thanks again Gordon.
