I ended up returning the Icons and ordered a pair of the Oneils

Hope you like it as much as I do it’s a phenomenal boot, easy to walk in not to step on the bottom and extremely comfortable and easy to get in and out of.

Take care of that hip:)

I did a lot of research on this last year and ended up with Forma ADV Tourer boots. The Gaerne Balance Oiled boots were what I thought I wanted, but after I crashed in September I was glad to be wearing the Formas (which held up really well and are still useful).

I almost bought a pair of the gaenre's last night I found a pair for $356 but backed out because of all the stupid bills I had hit at once, I did buy a pair of the Forma's but they were to wide for my feet. I'm hoping I like the Oneill's better when it comes to foot wear I am extremely picky and what sucks is buying them online, that is the worse way for me to buy shoes. It never works out

I got my O'Neil's and I am glad I took your advise, very comfortable right out of the box and surprisingly I am able to reach the buckles on my left foot. For a budget boot they are pretty impressive

I have worn Alpinestars Web Goretex leather boots for over twenty years now. They have never leaked and I am currently on my fourth pair. The first pair were totaled out with a deer/motorcycle collision…….no injury to my feet! They Velcro and zip from the inside. I like them because they are walkable plus made of leather which I find to be more comfortable when hot or cold.
Will jeans fit over these?

A pair of boots that i can recomend is Sidi Adventure.
A very good allround boot. It’s actually pretty good to do a little bit of walking in.
