I'm going to leave Helena Tuesday noon or so and spend the night in Kalispell. I'll be on the road into Idaho and north through the border near Creston sometime Wednesday morning.

I was looking over my Tenere last night in the parking lot outside the Beaverlodge Motor Inn (Beaverlodge, Alberta) and a blue S10 rolled by on Highway 43. He saw me and circled back. Dave from Houston...soon to be member. He bought his Tenere in Seattle a couple weeks ago, had it decked out with all the Altrider gadgetry and went straight from there up to Alaska. I tried to get him to come up to Whitehorse for the rally but he was on his way back to Calgary to pick up the missus and then back to Houston. This was the first Tenere I saw, but gotta say, I am really starting to see and meet a lot of bikers up here now. Gettin' close...under a thousand miles out from Whitehorse.

It's day 11 on the road, it has been raining on me all morning so I decided to stop and get some coffee. I camped outside of Quincy Wa last night and the cooler weather is a refreshing change from the 100 degree weather in UT last week.

After testing and passing the limits of the super T in UT I think I have everything back to working order and am hoping for smooth sailing from here on.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Whitehorse!

Today, we were cruising along Hwy 97 in BC South of Vernon when we saw Rod approching in our rear view mirrors. We stopped for a chat at the Vernon Tourist Information Center.

Excellent.

We're leaving Grand Prairie in the morning and will catch you up in Whitehorse!

I remember leaving Whitehorse towards Muncho Lake BC doing a stretch of that road. It was big sweeping corners and I clocked myself and did 88 miles in one hour once. Nice to make some good time and enjoy the large scenery!!!! Have fun everyone!!!
