I expect I am preaching to the choir with this one

I had a MSF Basic Riders Course earlier this week. On day 1 one of our more "experienced"** students forgot to stop "upright and square" with the result being a beautiful face plant at 10 MPH. After we got him and the bike sorted out he was cussing up a storm about the "scratches" in the face shield of his brand new Arai. My co-instructor told him to take it off and look at it. At that point it was pointed out that the shield was heavily gouged...NOT his face. He shut up and was very attentive after that

Yes, he did pass the test for his endorsement

** "experienced" = does not listen

While I think it would be fun to go back to instructing* I'm just not ready to give up my weekends, which is pretty much a requirement here.

* Took the MSF Instructor class and work caused me to miss the graduation.

CW, I get it. Hacks off the spouse if I teach too many classes. It helps that around the Twin Cities metro a number of weekday classes are offered which I really like teaching. Ironically, not many instructors like teaching weekdays......go figure

I just hope that by teaching these classes I will keep someone from killing themselves because it is certain I will not get rich teaching it *L*

Do you mean he was leaned over/turning and grabbed the front brake? Or a "nose wheelie"? I've been running into more and more of "I've been riding my whole life", but haven't been on a bike in over five years.
