Hello,
I need to replace my front ABS sensor and need tips from anyone that has done it. Im assuming the connector is somewhere under the tank. Once i replace the sensor, is there any thing that I need to do to the ABS system?
Thanks Al

Yes, it is just in front of the air cleaner box. You may have to take the box off to reach it. Its part of a bunch of plugs in a rubber hood. I replaced mine and did not have to do anything to the ABS but you might have to clear the error code, 68 iircc, if you got one.

There's two wires coming from the sensor. There's nothing magic about it and I would just cut the wires and splice the new sensor in.

When I had my tires replaced, they didnt use loctite and the screw came out. The plastic tab that holds the sensor in place was damaged when it hit the rotating wheel. I was able to fab a large washer with a notch to hold it in place. The sensor is still functioning.
