Supposedly Pazzo will have their line of levers available. I have a set that is on my ST13 (and my FZ1) that I want to use on the Yami. Pazzo told me that they will sell me new perches once they figure out which ones are needed. I had heard that they are the same as the FJR, bur that is not confirm as far as I know.

HoebSTer had ASV levers on his Strom and saved them for the S10. HoebSTer, how sure are you that they are a fit on the S10? I have seen those and they are nice too.

They come with adapters to fit most OEM brands. Within each brand there is almost a standard. The STrom levers fit most all Suzuki sport bikes out there, and I would have to say the same would be true for Honda or Yamaha. If you look at Honda for example, they use mostly Nissan reservoirs across the board. The only ones i know of off top of my head is the GoldWings which have a much larger reservoir and lever assembly.

There is a chance I wm wrong about this, so time will surely tell.

On ebay, there are some Pazzo knockoffs out of China or somewhere that look the same for about $40 instead of $180. I have some Pazzos on my ST1300 and are OK but not worth that kind of mullah IMHO. I'd check out the knockoffs and see if there is a size compatible. Lots of bike manufacturers use a similar lever to save $$ so it may work.

Hmmm don't forget the old adage 'You get what you pay for'. I stick Pazzo's on to pretty well every bike I get. Never had any issues with quality, fit or finish. I swap them from bike to bike. The ones I put on the Tenere were off of my MT-01 .... just required a different perch for the brake ... after three years of use there was not a sign of wear. Look brand new on the Tenere.

But then whose to say that the cheaper ones aren't just as good. Someone will know I'm sure.

OK about those knockoff products.

I saw a selection of them yesterday when talking to Mark from Speedycom. Most were complete sh*te and looked nasty. One however was a very good replica, trouble is it was cast and machined and not made from billet. The anodising was thin and the indexing was not particularly positive. All in all, I'd not go anywhere near them. I can't anyway cos my missus is in the fraud, brand protection and IPR business .... specialising in the detection of counterfeit products. So be careful what you tell me cos I will shop ya. ;)

Even if the quality issues or lack there of don't put you off the knock-offs, please think about the folks who whose day job may go down the loo if people buy strictly on price. I have no problem with competition, it keeps merchants on their toes and we all benefit from that. And as far as I know, Pazzo's design is not protected so there are no laws being broken by copying their stuff. In the end you pay your money and make your choice. I prefer to buy quality items once over low price stuff repeatedly.

Just my 2 cents.

I am with you Buckeye, as long as I am not getting screwed too much on price. I LOVE the quality of my ASV Levers and they come with a 5 year breakage warranty. If the bike tips over and breaks the lever, they replace them for free.

Pazzo's vs. ASV ?

I already know I'm going to need to change the clutch lever on my S10 as the stock setup is still a bit of a reach for my little sausages even on the closest setting. My question is, which brand will be a better choice?

Both Pazzo & ASV look like quality units but I noticed the Pazzo's have 6 position settings and the ASV quote infinate adjustments. Does anyone have experience with both brands?

I did call ASV< and they haven't had an opportunity to test fit any levers to the Tenere yet. When my bike gets here, I will surely be test fitting mine with the Yamaha adapters that came with the levers.

I'll ask my dealer next week to have a look as they stock ASV levers and they have my Tenere there now. I'll let you know if I get any news.

OK these are the black Pazzo's on the Tenere ... also showing the ones on my FJR ... those are the titanium beasties. I prefer the longs ... more comfortable for the long rides IMHO. 8)
