thanks for posting the remus, much too loud for me, but it was nice to hear the beast singing. I want it whisper silent these days, hearing is going. Oh well.

Thanks for posting. It sounds great. Would it be too much to ask for a similar video with the baffle in for comparison? I know, what a pain! ;)

The baffle is down at the dealers with the stanard exhaust, the baffle was also tight getting it out so would't really want to put it back in, I can tell you there is a big difference though in sound.

MM,

Do like the low throaty growl!!! Not sure which exhaust system I"ll be putting on the S10. Thanks for sharing!

The Remus and Arrow exhausts are too loud for my tastes. Have to say if I go with an exhaust the Leo Vince X3 looks and sounds like a good option. Hard to get a good feel for the exhaust systems on video but if the sound drowns out the engine completely it is too loud for me.

Swichback, the Akrapovic slip-on might be a good option for you. It is a little more money but I think somewhat quieter than most aftermarket options and looks great too. Pipecity has them for $739 delivered here in the States.
The Akra, Remus and Wasp are my top choices right now. Wasp is at the top but considerably more given all expenses to get it here.

I was going to buy Akrapovic but I don't really like the look of it. I still rather hope that Two Brothers Racing will develop something ... they always produce fantastic looking stuff IMO.

I can understand that. There was a time I didn't really care for it but it has grown on me, especially with a modded exhaust shield. One thing I do like about it is that it follows the lines of the bike better than most as does Wasps.

Most of the others have the rear end down too low and the angle does not match the lines as well IMHO. I love the shape of the Remus, but I don't like the angle it sits as much and it seems a bit small for the scale of the bike.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the Remus, I am just being critical here.
The perfect version for me would be Wasps for the price of the Leo Vince delivered ($599)!!!, but does not look like that will happen.

The Akrapovic is huge, may as well keep the stock exhaust. Agree with Swagger on this one. Very happy with the Leo on my WR.

Ive got over 3000km on with the remus, the note is great and its not loUd like the sports exhausts on my WR or XR, it gets left behing you at all speeds but dropping down a cog and giving it some gas will let you know its not stock. I have been very impressed and its the best add on I have invested in for the s10 by a long way.
