Does anyone remember The Moonshine Lunch Run? If so did you ever attend? I did and thought it was great. In the tradition of Moonshine I have talked a friend of mine into doing something similar. He owns The Fulton Store oddly enough located in Fulton WI. Last Saturday of April, the 29th 2023 will be The First Annual Fulton Lunch Run. Moonshine did hamburgers, Eric is doing hot dogs and chili dogs. I'll buy a hot dog for the first 100 people that travel over 50 miles to attend. Hope you can make it.

I'm in. Fulton is only about 10 miles from my house, down Highway 59 (hardly a highway, in reality). So no free hot dogs for me! My cardiovascular system breathes a sigh of relief.

I'd be happy to host a S10 get-together before or after. More opportunity for more food/riding/wrenching/tall tales.

Let me know how things develop.

I attended Moonshine 3 times, it was fantastic ! I believe they served over 4,500 hamburgers last time I was there.

Planning to attend your friends Fulton event and hopefully he will be very successful ! Google says it’s only 220 miles down to Fulton from my home.

In case you're wondering why April in Wisconsin well it's because Moonshine was in April and that's what made it special. I lived in Florida during the Moonshine years and remember people's response "your riding 1000 miles to a crossroads in IL to have a hamburg in the middle of April?" I was always able to answer that question with a self contented smile and "Yes." We're doing the last Saturday April 29 2023 which is late by Moonshine standards. Had to stick with April out of respect for The Run. Anyway there's no guarantee that May in Wisconsin would be any better.

Is there a minimum age requirement for this. All I saw is gray hair. :D Is it still cold in April there?

No minimum age. Honestly Wisconsin weather in April can be anything, pretty hard to predict this far out. Hoping for a nice weekend.

One year a friend and I had plans to attend Moonshine but it snowed about 4 inches overnight so my friend called in the morning wanting to drop out so we both stayed home. It was close to 40 degrees that day so I’m sure we could have made it fine , we had a non canceling motel reservation so we still had to pay for that.

I have ridden to Texas a few times in March, one trip it was in the 90’s which really ain’t that bad but the humidity was really high so even though they had very nice free camping facilities we stayed in motel.

That must have been South Texas. That warm with high humidity. West Texas gets warm, but they're usually dry as a bone.
