While I am enjoying my new (to me) 2016 S10, I was wondering how to reach the rear brake reservoir. I check the level before each ride, by crawling under the bike with a light. But when the time comes to either flush it or refill it, how do I access it?

I realize there are 2 Philips screws underneath, but that is not enough to remove. It barely loosens it. I thought there were other screws required to be loosened / removed when accessed under the seat, but I think I'm wrong.

P.S. I ordered the Yamaha factory service manual.

When you remove the ES motor cover be careful not to crack it. It's a very expensive part. Mine cracked in a simple tip over and I decided to leave it. It is right where the bottom back plastic snap in screw goes in. It's almost 150.00 with decal sold separate.

The bottom screws simply loosen a half turn then get a small pick to pull them out. The rest you just pop out of the rubber.
