And could you confirm for me, you ARE able to turn on & off traction control on the move ?

And you ARE able to turn on & off ABS on the move?

These two things might get me thinking about changing my engine management set up I currently have (and love).

Thanks for all your info !

There is an additional controller which uou can plug it for the following:

Traction control
Engine braking
Quick shifter
AFR
Launch control
RPM
They have confirmed to me that traction control can be adjusted l the fly but since i haven't installed the control module i can't confirm

Regarding ABS i highly doubt that.

i want to test the actual product first befofe dumping more money in this.

Nice thing about quick shifter is that it's bidirectional.
With a short ride i noticed a huge change in the first gears. Aggressive.

abs switch easy and cheap to put on. No deal breaker. This sounds interesting. I like the traction control swith the most. For the times when I need to get the front end light and I gas it and the tc kiks in. Then the throttle chops at the worst time possible. There's several times when I've gone down because I didn't remember to turn the damn thing off. I use my crashbars

Well, I got pretty good deal on a Rapid Bike Evo, so I'm going to pull the trigger.
I really like the idea of being able to piece together add-on's (header, filter, slipon) over time and the system will auto tune as needed.
Maybe even a QS at some point o_O
From some Web searching, this product has been widely used for years in racing and sport riding circles.

I contacted RapidBike as I am considering the EVO for my 2018. That twitchy throttle is annoying and having owned a few Harley's, I understand the benefits of having the ECU less restricted. I just have to decide if I am going to take the plunge so I am watching this Thread closely.

I believe you want to do the ECU flash too and or 1st to insure the Rapid Bike can work to it's full potential. I did the ECU Flash via AC and it was good, but I needed more and decided to go with a Header which most likely would require a Dyno or Auto Tune and RB seems to be a pretty good solution with the ability to move the unit to a new bike if needed down the road.

Flightrisk86,
Thanks for the source info. I already have a reflash on my Tenere, but I also have an Aprilia Capo Rally that has a locked ECU with some throttle lag issues that seem to be unique to my bike - perhaps the piggy back RapidBike would cure it.

The Rally is cool, but with the throttle issues, I prefer the '14 Tenere' ES. Found out that Rapid Bike doesn't list a unit for the Rally.

Bike = 2015 S10 ES / AC ECU Flash / Stock Exhaust / recent oil/air & plugs changed / seat mod :p
Hi All,
My Rapid Bike EVO arrived yesterday, as well as a set of Arrow Headers
I installed the RB last night and will test the unit in with the stock exhaust system 1st.
Then add stuff, one at a time, at least I will try to be patience.
Install - the install was not too hard. If you have changed your plugs before you will find this work fairly simple.
1. Flip the tank up - like you would to get at the air filter
2. review instructions and find each area that needs to be touched (injectors, O2's,Crank sensor, power source.)
3. Note - power source for 2014 on use another cable (incl.), but the instructions do not clearly advise where to plug it in. I used a 3 wire unused source from the right side battery area.
4. I did some routing of wires and cable ties where best suited.
Turned the key to on and all looked good, hit the start button and fired it up. No Drama. ;)
Although I can no longer flip between T and S, kind of makes sense I guess since the RB is taking over mapping. Potentially I can unplug the RB, flip the modes to S and plug it back in. I will test this theory later, for now 1st test drive is in T mode.
So I will take it out today and give it a bit of a shake down and report back.

Ok then,
Went for a 35mile ride stock exhaust system.
No surprises along the ride, throttle / engine smoothed out a bit.
Not sure if it was a placebo effect but it felt less bound up - it felt like a blend of T mode & S mode.

So....Latter that day - I could not wait any-longer and slapped on the Arrow Header with stock muffler. Hope to do some twisty today and maybe hook up the Laptop and review what the fuel map looks like.
More to come.
