I've got some missing paint on the rear diff, does anyone have a paint code for it?

My guess is a powder coat.
There's a Rustoleum dark gray metallic color that I used for the trailer hitch that is close, just slightly darker and more gloss.
Zoom in on the left edge of this.

Thanks all, I did wonder if it was a coating but it seems very thin if it is. I'll have a look at the Rustoleum colour range.

Yeah, the thinness made me question whether it was a coating or not. I don't know if you have access to this paint. I use it on my b-b-q grills. There is an equal heat rated primer that I use with it.

low film thickness for a powder but that also explains the general coating failure in your pictures

just rattle can the whole assembly as CW and Sierra suggest. Clean thoroughly first

I eventually found a supplier on Ebay for the chassis paint:-


It's only a small bottle with a brush in the cap - but they may be able to provide other quantities etc.
